  • Visit Galleria Sextante
  • Private Dinner and reception at the home of Ana Maria Escallon – prominent art collector and art critic

Wednesday, October 22

  • Visit UNFPA*, PROOF’s partner in Legacy of Rape project
  • Lunch at Di Lucca
  • Visit to private collection of Vicky Turbay (a major collection of contemporary Colombian art)
  • Dinner at El Techo

Thursday, October 23

  • Visit NC-Arte, a contemporary art space
  • Lunch at Club Colombia, from top international restaurateur Leo Katz
  •  Visit private art collection of Leo Katz  
  •  VIP opening party at artBO, the major Colombian art fair, featuring galleries from Latin America, Europe and the US.

Friday, October 24

  • Memoria, Paz y Reconciliacion
  • Talk with Lucas Espina, Head of the Art Department at University de los Andes, and designer of PROOF’s groundbreaking exhibition in Colombia My Body is A War Zone
  • Lunch at Los Andes
  • Optional visit to Gold Museum or free time
  • Sunset visit to Monserrat (10,314 feet above sea level) for incredible views of Bogota and surrounding areas, and a visit to the 17th century church and shrine at the summit.

Saturday, October 25

  • Museo de Arte del Banco de la Republica + Museo Botero with Ana Maria Escallon
  • Lunch in Candelaria, the historic “Old City” in downtown Bogota
  • Visit to Centre for the Aesthetic Revolution, founded by Art Nexus Director Celia Birbragher. Seven story building of artists studios,  including internationally acclaimed as Rodrigo Echeverri and Miler Lagos, among others.
  • Dinner at Gaira

Sunday, October 26

  • Breakfast
  • Depart for US
